Monticello and LifeBridge Values

Family

We believe that each person deserves to feel a part of a supportive family, one that is part of the wider family of God that Jesus calls us into. As two churches together - both Monticello and LifeBridge - we lean on each other's gifts and strengths to build a Christ-centered, caring community.

Tradition

As a church with over 160 years of history, Monticello rests in generations of experience and wisdom, learning from our past as we look toward a bright future.

Faith

We believe that God is guiding us all to a better life built on loving kindness. As such, we faithfully seek to follow where the Holy Spirit leads, as we meet our tradition with ongoing transformation.

Encouragement

We seek to see the best in others, while also challenging one another to be the person God created each of us to be.  We desire to encourage one another as together we follow this path that Jesus taught us.

Transformation

We recognize that the path to a world of love that Jesus showed us means that we sometimes ask the hard questions. It's ok to ask those questions as we invest in our own transformation for the transformation of the community and world.

Service

Serving our community is a high priority for us. Whether it is through mission trips, volunteering in local non-profit organizations, or seeking justice for those who need an advocate, we seek to serve anywhere we can.
